Spring Job Fair opportunity showcase with local companies and real vacancies. With this job fair being held at Everards Meadows on Wednesday 15 June. It will be a bigger event than the March job fair at the same venue.

Are you a school or college leaver interested in finding out about trainee positions as well as apprenticeships?

Expert help will be available at the event taking place on Wednesday 15 June from 12-6pm.

Everards are kindly hosting this second event at their Everards Meadows site on Cooper Way, LE19 2AN, The Meadows have excellent foot and cycle paths as well as up to three hours free parking.

Councillor Sharon Coe, Portfolio Holder for Health, Wellbeing, Community Engagement and Business Support, said,

“This is the second recruitment event we have hosted this year and each one is an important part of our commitment to helping local people find local opportunities.

“We are lucky to be welcoming local businesses who have so many exciting roles available. We look forward to welcoming people on the day, whether you’re looking for a job or the next stage in your career.”

Some of the companies expected to be in attendance and the jobs they are recruiting for are listed below:

  • Everards, are looking for team members, a line chef and a kitchen assistant and apprenticeship opportunities
  • Blaby-based leading dancewear company Freed of London have several trainee and experienced manufacturing vacancies
  • Hunny Nursery  have jobs and apprenticeships available

Also in attendance will be several organisations whose aim is to assist people of all ages gaining employment and providing work related support.
