LBF Embedding Youth Voice Event hosted by the YAB (Youth Advisory Board) is being held in Leicester City Centre in conjunction with the Leicester Business Festival promoting the young people of Leicester and Leicestershire. Making sure their opinions and voices are heard over a range platforms on issues they can add a unique insight to.
The event is being held on November 8th between 10-11am at the LCB Depot, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester LE1 1RE.
The LLEP Youth Advisory Board are inviting people from the local business community for a drop-in coffee and discussion about the importance and value of engaging authentic youth voice in influential conversations for your business.
The Board consists of driven and entrepreneurial young people with a passion for Leicester, sustainability, and giving young people a platform to be heard. Drop by to hear about how and why youth voice can and should be embedded into an employers culture and conversations.
LLEP representatives attending the event will be Gerarde Manley, LLEP Careers Hub Lead Strategy and Tom King, LLEP Enterprise Coordinator.
YAB member Oli Bochenek said about his experience:

The nature and purpose of the board has been shaped by the group itself. Our Youth Advisory Board will lead creative and effective projects linked to our Bright Green Futures Initiative of environmentally conscious young employees.
