Inspiring apprenticeships Webinar: promoting apprenticeships to any age group, April 5th 9.45am-11am
The LLEP recently launched their area apprenticeships strategy. One area of importance is to raise awareness of apprenticeships as a great option whatever your age. Following feedback that advisers who support adults and young people might value a session on the apprenticeships offer to any age, we have organised an upcoming webinar aimed at officers who help young people and/or adults into jobs, apprenticeships and opportunities
Inspiring apprenticeships Webinar: promoting apprenticeships as a great option to any age group
- Are you a support adviser who helps young people and/or adults into jobs, apprenticeships and opportunities?
- Are you confident when promoting apprenticeships as an option to adults and young people?
- Could you do with a brush up on the benefits of apprenticeships and the local landscape?
One misconception surrounding apprenticeships is that they are only available to school leavers. Anyone aged 16 and over can be enrolled on an apprenticeship, including school leavers, career changers, and people looking to develop their skills as part of their current job. The LLEP is working with the Leicester Employment Hub, Futures, DWP, and Twin Training to deliver a webinar that will support advisers to enhance their promotion of the apprenticeships option for all ages.
Join our informative FREE webinar and hear the latest on area apprenticeships, which will help you to explain and promote apprenticeships whether you support young people or adults, or both!
Time/date: Tues April 5th, 9.45am-11.00am, if you wish to join please email Anna.firstname.lastname@example.org, ideally by March 22nd 2022.
For bookings. Please include all attendees first and second names, the business they are representing, personal contact number and personal contact email address.
A joining invite will be sent nearer to the webinar.
